Uplifting and Relaxing Diffuser Blend

This is one of my favorite diffuser blends. It is an uplifting, energizing, balancing, and relaxing diffuser blend. You can mix up a blend that you can then easily make several diffuser sessions from. Just use a few drops of this blend in your diffuser. You can add more if your room size requires more.

Uplifting, Energizing, Balancing and Relaxing Diffuser Blend

Diffuser Recipe

In a one ounce dropper bottle:

  • 5 ml of Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus limon)
  • 2 ½ ml of Geranium Essential Oil (Pelargonoum roseum X asperum)
  • 2 ½ ml. of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Cananga odorata)

(You may reduce this. I like it in this ratio but it may be a bit strong for your taste, if so, decrease the Ylang Ylang as it is potent.)

Gently swirl around to combine your oils.

A Bit About These Oils

Lemon – uplifting with a fresh smell and may help reduce tension and depression. This is a top note essential oil.

Geranium –  this is a “make you feel good oil” from an emotional standpoint. It is uplifting and helps reduce anxiety. This is a middle note essential oil.

Ylang Ylang – I absolutely LOVE this essential oil. I find it very relaxing. It has a reputation of being an essential oil that can slow a rapid heartbeat.  It’s great for calming the mind and reducing anxiety and depression. Ylang Ylang is my happy oil. This is a middle/base note essential oil.

Smell each of these oils prior to making your diffuser blend. See how you react to each of them. I feel this combo is wonderful and it makes be happy. Each person has their own preferences. Just make sure you like all the oils before you make the full recipe. Once you are sure you love the oil combination go ahead and make your full recipe. It is just a matter of placing a few drops into your diffuser’s water to enjoy anytime.

The combination of these oils are a great mix of all three essential oil notes. It is a very balanced combination of incredible smelling essential oils I think you will truly enjoy.
